This One Shift Changes Everything

We’ve been on this Live Inspired journey together, and I hope with all my heart (and pinky toes) that you’re not only feeling inspired but living inspired and passing that energy forward. But today, we need to pause and talk about something most people avoid—CHANGE.

We like to be cozy. We like familiarity. We like to be predictable. But comfort breeds contentment, and contentment puts dreams on hold. This life is too short, and your dream is too big to put it off for another year.

The Challenge of Change

The truth? Change comes with fear and risk. The fear of failing. The risk of it not working out. But the reality is that adversity is not a sign you should stop—it’s proof that you’re pushing boundaries, growing, evolving.

Thomas Edison failed 9,999 times before he perfected the light bulb. Imagine if he had stopped at failure #5,000?

Reframing Adversity: It’s Not Failure, It’s Sorting

What if every obstacle was simply a test to see how committed you are? What if instead of seeing difficulty as failure, you saw it as a sorting process—separating those who give up from those who press on?

Reflection: What’s a challenge you’re currently facing that might actually be a sign you’re on the right track?

Action Step: The next time adversity strikes, take a deep breath, place your hands on your hips, and say out loud: “This is what it feels like to be on the verge of success.” Then, take the next step forward.

The world is waiting for what you have to offer—keep going!
